PUBG Mobile has announced the launch of Trial of Fire, a new reality competition inspired by the battle royale concept. The event is scheduled to premiere on May 30 and will feature participants competing in a real-world tournament in Bali, Indonesia.
Unlike traditional PUBG Mobile esports tournaments, Trial of Fire moves the action beyond the game itself and places competitors in a live environment. The show brings together 16 teams from around the world, with one team ultimately claiming the Flame of Glory title.
A Real-World Take on the Battle Royale Format
Trial of Fire adapts elements of the battle royale concept into a reality show setting. Rather than competing through PUBG Mobile matches, participants take part in activities and contests designed for a real-world competition environment.
According to promotional materials released ahead of the premiere, the event takes place in Bali and features contestants competing away from the game itself. The show is presented as a battle royale-inspired reality competition that brings PUBG Mobile themes into a live setting.
Sixteen Teams Compete in Bali
The event features 16 teams that have traveled to Indonesia to participate in the competition. Trial of Fire brings together contestants from multiple regions, creating an international lineup for the show.
The winning team will earn the Flame of Glory title at the conclusion of the competition.
